1:38 Lego Big Boy Valve Gear

The Big Boy Lego version in 1:38 is almost ready. Within the next two weeks I will assemble all the parts. I have build this locomotive in a few sections to make the wiring (for the Brickstuff lights) and tracktesting easier.
The design of the valve gear was a challenge. Together with Jaap Kroon, who 3D prints the parts for me, we created this design. It resembles the original for a fair part, but is not so fine and detailed as you could go with printing. This we did to keep the design 'Lego-compatible' and not look off balance.
This week I will run it on track to see how it works. Four of these sets will be on the locomotive once finished!
