Hello
My name is Michael. I am an Australian who has been living in your great little country for a few years now. Some of you are probably familiar with some of my MOCS already from my Flickr, Michaelozzie1 and on several have been posted on here.

Welcome on this forum.
Glad you came 'out of the box' with your beautiful creations.
I've seen already some pictures here from your station and the 1606 locomotive.
I was wondering who build them.
Verry surpriced it's been done by an Ozzie!
Great job.
Different themes, thats for sure.
I realy like the diesel' (78xx) and the green/yellow shunter.
The wharf is also a nice build.
Anyhow, I like it all, even if Star Wars isn't my thing.
Would like to see something in real. :D
Noticed also some pictures of my station (Treignes) on the exibition Brick Mania Antwerp 2013 and your visit @ Maldegem Steam Center.
some questions:
- Are you attending exibitions with your models?
Are you a member of BeLUG?
Where do you live? Perhaps we can meet each other once?[/list:u]
kind regards,
Ludo, who have also family in Australia - region Melbourne - Victoria

To answer your questions, I have not as yet attended any exhibitions with my models and I am not a member of Belug, yet. I do regularly come to the Brickmania events for a look with my son and also the Brick tricks events in Tielt. Actually I live in Pittem so Tielt is very close.
Interesting that you have family in Melbourne. Ever been over for a visit? Also I really love your station.
Regards Michael.
Hi Michael,
Well, you live in Pittem. Thats not so far from my home in Harelbeke (Stasegem) aproximately 25 km,and my mother in law lives in Pittem on the market place.
Perhaps we can arrange a meeting some day?
I'm interested in how you build your trains & wagons.
7 / 8 wide isn't it?
I normally build in 6 wide but want to convert some to 7 wide, for as far as possible.
And yes, i've been once in Australia for a family visit, long time ago.
Spend my holliday there, and even it was winter over there, it was warmer and better weather than this actual summer here in Belguim.
Are you staying permanent in Belgium, or is it only temporarely?
pictures of some of my stuff can you find here:
Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/galle ... ludo-soete
Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/152454002 ... 946750178/
Brickshelf is mostly buildings, rolling stock, trains while Flickr has my MILS modules.
best regards,
Ludo

That's a deal!michaelozzie schreef:Hi again Ludo.
Well that's not far away then, Harelbeke. I live in the Kerkstraat just off the market place. We will have to meet up then sometime.
I'll send you - or you send me - a PM through this forum or Flickr.
Glad to read you stay permanently, as I can see youre a great builder with notice of details. :-Dmichaelozzie schreef: Yes I live here in Belgium now permanently. My wife is actually from Brugge.

Great difference between Belgium and 'Down Under', with it's unique nature and animals.
