Hi enjoying lovely holiday until new Lego train sets stolen

Hi, we have been enjoying a relaxing holiday at Beekse Bergen, (1st holiday in Holland) & I was lucky to come across 2 retired sets for my disabled son. City
Vrachttrein 66405 (7499, 7895, 7937, 7939) & City Passagerstrein 7938). However last night they were stolen from our car. If anyone hears anything of these sets being sold on could you please contact me, unfortunately we go home this Sat. These were to be his first sets as he had enjoyed controlling a setup at a local Lego event in Scotland last month.

It is a real shame, but I don't think we will see them again, the shop even wrapped them up for us, I found the wrapping & bag under a car close by & there were witnesses however no luck. A delay in our train project which is a shame, hopefully this will be erased by our trip to legoland windsor in October.

That's strange to steal those trains. They ain't very rare. Any damage to your car?

Hi,

No damage to car I believe the key fob unlocked car without my wife knowing. The thief was an opportunist, both sets were in wrapping paper so they wouldn't gave known what they were stealing as they were in Bart Smit wrappings & bags.

Billy is right, these aren't rare, when that was 12v I would cry, but I understand, it is soon also more than 200 EUR when you buy those MISB...
